Physical Education

Wednesday and Thursday are PE days; children will need to come to school in their PE kits on these days.
PE kit should consist of a navy or white t-shirt with navy/black shorts or navy/black tracksuit bottoms / leggings. Children will need to wear pumps or trainers because we will be outside as much as possible.

Reading Books

Children can change their reading books at any time. If your child chooses a longer book, they may keep their reading book for two weeks, if needed. Please try to listen to your child reading for at least 10 minutes each day.

Homework

Year 6 can also choose to complete activities from the 'topic homework menu' below.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Best wishes,
Mrs Yaqub

Pizza party!

To celebrate completing the SATS, the children were treated to a well-deserved pizza party with ice cream. Well done Year 6!

World Book Day 2026

The children have been working on their conversations in French.

Some more fantastic balances the Year 6s have done in PE.

We have enjoyed learning how to play Bacharach Anorak using a glockenspiel in Music.

The children have been excellent this week at showing their variety of balances and poses! There were lots of giggles along the way, making it even more fun to watch!

We tried using the rules of debating to discuss a range of topics including whether you should be allowed to gain a license at 14.

The children have been working hard to create Chris Ofili–inspired artworks using vibrant oil pastels.
