School Council 2026-2027

Hello! We are the school council. We are the voice for the children at Quarry Mount.

At Quarry Mount we believe that all of our voices are important and that we can all contribute to a happy and positive environment. If you have any ideas on how we can improve our school, please speak to a school council member and have your say!

Our school council members are:
Year 1 - Evelyn and Lucas
Year 2 - Eshaal and Lawa
Year 3 - Xander and Zikaya
Year 4 - Zerah and Abbas
Year 5 - Savannah and Danizaac
Year 6 - Anas and Ava

Our meetings:

In our school council meetings, we have been sharing our pupil voice with other members of staff in the school. We have been working closely with subject leaders to provide feedback on their areas and consider ways we can improve our learning. We have also worked closely with the pastoral team to feedback on our 'Good to be green' behaviour system and our new PHSE scheme. We help choose prizes and incentives.

We have also been thinking of ways we can raise money to buy new playground equipment for us to play with during break times and lunch times! Last year we were very pleased to have raised enough money to buy a giant connect four, a speaker and other exciting equipment such as skipping ropes, balls and beanbags.
