- Friday 2nd October - Harvest Celebration Assemblies (times TBC)
- Wednesday 7th October 3.30 - 5.30pm - Parents’ Evening
- Wednesday 14th October 3.30 - 4.30 - Parents’ Evening
- Friday 16th October - Individual school photos
- Wednesday 21st October - ‘We love reading’ event for parents to come into classes (time TBC)
- Thursday 22nd October – Last day of Autumn 1 half term for the children
Reading Books
Please can you ensure that your child brings their reading book to school with them everyday. This allows us to listen to your child read more frequently. Books will be changed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please try to listen to your child reading for at least 5-10 minutes each day. Sharing a book at bedtime or reading a story to your child will help them develop a love for reading!
Homework
Children have the opportunity to complete activities from the topic homework menu. These activities link to the learning we will be doing in class that half term.
Physical Education
PE days are Wednesdays and Thursdays and children will need to wear their PE kits to school on those days so that they can get changed into them. PE kit should consist of a navy or white t-shirt and navy shorts or navy/black tracksuit bottoms or leggings. Children will need pumps or trainers because we will be outside as much as possible. Please ensure the children do not wear jewellery for school on PE days as it has to be removed.
