Quarry Mount Primary is a one-form entry, inner-city school in Woodhouse. It is a community school with links to the University of Leeds. The school itself is a spacious Victorian building. The school includes an Early Years Unit, a Pupil Development Centre and a main building. The Quarry Mount site offers education to children from 3-11 years.

Quarry Mount is a welcoming school. It has a fully revalidated Inclusion Chartermark. It holds the Stephen Lawrence Award for equality work. Recently, the school took part in a project to develop positive images of Africa: this was supported by the University of Leeds. Each year, the school holds a public Art Exhibition which celebrates art from around the world. Quarry Mount Primary does not tolerate prejudice and works hard to develop anti-racism practices and foster caring, moral attitudes.
